Journey to Fansipan @ Sapa - Wondering around in the City

WEDNESDAY 31st JANUARY 2018

Hanoi is a big city. The population is almost 8 million people. Nearly 6 million are motorbike users. Cars is a bit expensive, so many citizens here will use motorbike as their primary modes of transportation.

Our first step is to buy local simcard. It does important, especially when you depending on Mobile Maps ( Google Map ). It is cheaper to buy in the city, compare to airport. And, the choice is plenty to choose from ( in terms of data usage, etc ).

Simcard - DONE ! So whats next ? Look at the time, it's already afternoon. It's time for LUNCH !

Since our bus to Sapa is set to depart at 10.00pm tonight, we do have a lot of extra time to explore the city. Bare in mind that there a not many HALAL food in Hanoi. If you are a muslim, eating here can be quite difficult.

We try our first choice by looking for a mosque. Normally in many country, where there is a mosque, surely there will have halal food selling nearby.

We manage to find the mosque. It's call AL - NOOR MOSQUE.

Suppose there is a halal food next to the mosque. It serves all local food. But unfortunately, the restaurant is closed. Is is set to close for 3 days. Well, guess our luck not so good after all. We continue our walk to search for more halal food restaurant.
